Holiday Gift Guide: Wellness Girl Edition
Hello everyone!
The holiday season is just around the corner, and lucky for you, I pride myself on giving excellent gifts. We all have that one super fit and healthy friend in our lives who's always going to yoga class or Pilates. This gift guide is specially curated for her.
1. Hatch Restore 2 Alarm Clock
I personally have the Hatch Restore 2 alarm clock, and I can say it's truly a game-changer. Waking up to natural light and peaceful birds chirping is so much better than my noisy phone alarm. I also love how luxurious the alarm clock looks on my nightstand, and the color options are so cute and versatile.
2. Ballerina Farms Protein Powder
I have heard nothing but good reviews about the Ballerina Farms protein powder. I believe every wellness-oriented person needs a clean protein powder that offers not only protein but also colostrum. While this protein powder may seem expensive, it's truly worth the investment. I'm also a huge fan of Ballerina Farms and their range of quality products, particularly their sourdough starter.
3. Colostrum
Supplements can be expensive, which is why I think it’s such a good idea to gift your wellness obsessed friend supplements that they wouldn’t typically buy, but definitely are on their wish list One supplement that I believe is particularly worthwhile is colostrum. Colostrum is not only beneficial for digestion but also promotes healthier hair, skin, and nails. It can help reduce bloating and improve muscle mass, strength, and endurance. Many people have reported that colostrum made their hair thicker, which is definitely a desirable effect.
4. Probiotic Subscription
Give the gift of gut health. Another great gift idea is a subscription. Getting your wellness-obsessed friend on a probiotic subscription like Seed or Just Thrive is an excellent choice. One of my favorite things about Seed is that it's not only a probiotic but also a prebiotic. If you have a friend who isn't super big on probiotics, you can set them up with a subscription from Cymbiotika. Cymbiotika is my favorite supplement brand, and they have everything!
Personally, I would set them up on a subscription for something they already use. It's super niche and very thoughtful. This type of gift shows that you've paid attention to their wellness routine and want to support their healthy habits.
5. Pressed Juice Cleanse
Another super cool and niche gift is giving a juice cleanse. I love this gift idea. I ended up doing this pressed juice cleanse a while ago, and it's not some crazy two-week-long juice cleanse; it's just a one-day cleanse, so nothing super intense. One thing I love about Pressed is that they have such high-quality juices and shots. If you don't think they'll enjoy a juice cleanse, they have ginger shots that are so good. Setting someone up with a week's supply of ginger shots or celery juice is a great idea.
6. Dry Brush
A simple yet effective gift is a dry brush. Even if they already have one, I think it's an excellent idea to get them another to replace their old dry brush. Primally Pure offers some of the best dry brushes, and I particularly love that they have one for your face. This is such a thoughtful gift idea and even makes for a cute stocking stuffer.
7. Tongue Scraper
Honestly, I think everyone should have this in their life. A tongue scraper is such an everyday necessity, especially for someone who cares about their health. I would definitely get a tongue scraper for someone even if they already have one, just because it's probably about time to replace it. Alternatively, you could buy them a tongue scraper that comes with a travel case so they can always have one on the go.
8. Hoka Clifton 9 Running Shoes
Comfortable and supportive shoes for her daily runs or walks. As someone who does a lot of walking, I go through running shoes every 3 to 6 months, and I feel like anybody who is active has the same problem. I think getting someone a new pair of running shoes, preferably the Hoka Clifton 9s, which are so good, is an excellent gift.
9. Five Minute Journal
This is an affordable and really sweet gift. I have had the Five Minute Journal for four years now, and it's one of my favorite journal prompt journals. It's such a great way to start and end a day, and I love it as something that you can keep as a capsule of your gratitude throughout the year.
10. Oura Ring 4th Edition
The latest in wearable technology for tracking sleep, activity, and overall health. Although this gift is pricey, I think it is so worth it. I have personally been using my Oura Ring for over a year and it is something I quite literally can't live without. Here's why I love it:
Cycle Tracking: I use my Oura Ring with my period tracker Natural Cycles, and it gives me the best predictions for my cycle and keeps me on track.
Temperature Monitoring: It takes my temperature every single morning, which can predict ovulation and when I start my period.
Sleep Tracking: It excels at tracking sleep, letting you know when you need rest and when you can go hard.
Stress Management: My Oura Ring tracks my daytime stress, tells me when I was stressed throughout the day, and suggests how I can fix it.
While it's not the best at tracking workouts, it's great when it comes to knowing when your body needs rest and improving your sleep. For anyone serious about health tracking, this is a game-changer.
11. The Skinny Confidential Ice Roller
A beauty tool for de-puffing and soothing the skin. I know a lot of people are into cold plunges and cold showers, but personally, I can't stand it. One thing I do like to do is ice roll my face with The Skinny Confidential Ice Roller. It is amazing for de-puffing and soothing my skin. I love to use this every single morning, and it wakes me up and gets my face nice and toned.
12. Yoga Mat
I recently got a Lululemon yoga mat for my once-a-week yoga class, and I've been obsessed. My yoga class offers mats, but nothing can compare to having your own mat that you can not only bring to class but also use on the go. I feel like it's just better to have your own mat from a hygiene perspective as well. Upgrading your regular cheap mat to a high-quality mat like an Alo Yoga or Lululemon mat is such a nice, luxurious gift.
13. Hydro Flask Tumbler
I don't know if this is just me, but I am so tired of the Stanley cups. Don't get me wrong, I have a huge Stanley cup, but I'm honestly tired of looking at it. One water bottle that has caught my eye is the Hydro Flask tumbler, not only because of the beautiful color selection they have but also because the straws are silicone. Such a game changer and honestly so cute.
These gifts are sure to delight your health-conscious friend and support her wellness journey. Remember, the thought behind the gift is what truly counts. Happy gifting!
